BACKGROUND : This program stemmed from the Florida Legislature's passage in May of major legislation affecting growth and growth management in Florida. It is intended to provide expert analysis of these new policies by leading experts in the field, while also examining other growth related needs and solutions. SPEAKERS: The presenters for this program include experts and specialists from diverse backgrounds and roles, including local governments, land use lawyers, planning professionals, the development community, environmental organizations, elected officials and others involved in growth issues and initiatives in Florida.
