Presenters: Participants will learn from an exceptional team of experts from varied organizations, brought together for this unique learning experience. The heads of five successful organizations will serve as the core faculty. Each has extensive experience working with the nonprofit community. Managing time, paper, “virtuality” (e-mail, e-communications), environment for improved efficiency and results. Designing operating procedures and systems for sustained savings and output. Steps for finding and tapping available resources at no or low cost.

IV.             Communications, August 30
Understanding the power of communications, with employers/employees, colleagues, customers and others. Skills and strategies for effective communications at all levels. Ways to build rapport, relationships and teams.
  
V.              Customer Service, September 12
How front-line employees impact “customers” and the quality of public service. How quality, timeliness and efficiency can be improved upon through communication skills, attitude, appearance, etiquette, professional standards. How to work with the public and conduct public meetings. Working with stakeholders. Promoting organizational services and cultivating constituents. Performance strategies for success.
 
Individual sessions, $25 each, or get all 7 for reduced rate of $125. Multiple staff members and volunteers at the same site (same organization) may listen in together via speaker phone for the price of a single registration. Stipends available for charitable nonprofits otherwise unable to participate. CDs of series also available.
